Indian equities opened on a mixed note as investors remained cautious ahead of the Reserve Bank of India’s policy announcement at 10 AM. While the majority of economists expect the RBI to hold rates steady, some anticipate the possibility of a cut.

At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80404.75 up by 137.13 points or by 0.17 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24637.95 up by 26.85 points or by 0.11 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 80436.91 and intraday low of 80159.9 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24661.85 and intraday low of 24605.95
