Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading lower with investors staying on the sidelines amid persistent foreign fund outflows and global tariff-related uncertainties.

At 10:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 83461.23 down by -166.46 points or by -0.2 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25686.6 down by -45.7 points or by -0.18 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 83715.93 and intraday low of 83288.13 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25761.5 and intraday low of 25638.35
