The domestic bourses traded near the day’s lows as rising crude oil prices weighed on sentiment, following escalating geopolitical tensions after Iran’s actions targeting vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

At 14:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77663.54 down by -852.95 points or by -1.09 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24175.15 down by -202.95 points or by -0.83 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 78178.54 and intraday low of 77625.17 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24310.2 and intraday low of 24134.8
