Indian benchmark indices pared most of their opening losses during the session, with the Nifty climbing back above the 23,400 mark as buying interest emerged in select heavyweight stocks.

Among the top gainers on the Nifty were Eternal, Titan Company, Adani Enterprises, Tata Consumer Products and Asian Paints, which helped support the market's recovery.

At 10:27 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74465.38 up by 119.21 points or by 0.16 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23431.35 up by 25.75 points or by 0.11 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 74480.75 and intraday low of 73807.3 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23443.7 and intraday low of 23247.3

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 258.40,+4.57%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 4155.00,+1.67%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3054.10,+1.43%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2694.70,+1.31%), State Bank of India (Rs. 983.70,+1.31%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1201.40,-1.70%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1168.00,-0.89%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 2818.20,-0.72%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 283.25,-0.67%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2229.00,-0.57%), among others.
