Indian benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 traded in positive territory on Friday as investors awaited the outcome of the Reserve Bank of India's monetary policy meeting.
Market participants remained cautious ahead of the policy decision, with expectations largely centered on the RBI maintaining the repo rate at 5.25%.
At 10:25 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74648.49 up by 288.48 points or by 0.39 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23468.5 up by 51.95 points or by 0.22 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 74717.57 and intraday low of 74433.69 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23516.35 and intraday low of 23423.85
