Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty extended their losses on Thursday, as rising crude oil prices heightened inflation concerns and fuelled a risk-off mood among investors.
At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 71758.67 down by -880.03 points or by -1.21 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22322.3 down by -280.75 points or by -1.24 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 72693.97 and intraday low of 71691.95 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22599.05 and intraday low of 22305.45
