This has reference to the news item titled 'SoftBank eyes stake in Airtel' published in Business Standard today. In this regard, it is clarified that at this juncture, there is no proposal for sale of stake in Bharti Airtel either directly or indirectly. The Company, as a matter of policy, does not wish to comment on the present speculative news item.
