The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 203.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 91.87 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 121.73 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 24.58 per cent at Rs 1,969.09 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,610.85 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 20.11 per cent to Rs 1,751.80 crore from Rs 2,192.77 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 65.34 per cent at Rs 28.96 crore versus (Mar'19 Rs 83.55 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 48.03 per cent to Rs 217.29 crore as against Rs 418.08 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 31.04 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 4.89 per cent y-o-y to Rs 113.30 crore, while Taxation decreased by 264.87 per cent at Rs -40.31 crore (Mar'19 Rs 24.45 crore).
