GMM Pfaudler Ltd Q4 net profit down 6.96% at Rs 10.03 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 10.03 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 10.78 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 6.96 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 6.08 per cent at Rs 113.38 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 120.72 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 10.12 per cent to Rs 93.23 crore from Rs 103.73 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 34.85 per cent at Rs 1.29 crore versus (Mar'19 Rs 1.98 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 18.67 per cent to Rs 20.15 crore as against Rs 16.98 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 26.30 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 172.73 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.90 crore, while Taxation decreased by 9.59 per cent at Rs 4.90 crore (Mar'19 Rs 5.42 crore).
