Equity mutual fund inflows soared 81% in July to Rs 42,702 crore, driven largely by strong contributions to thematic and flexi cap schemes, according to data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) released on Monday.

This marks the 53rd straight month of net inflows into the equity segment.

As per the data, equity-oriented funds saw inflows of Rs 42,702 crore in July, significantly higher than the Rs 23,587 crore recorded in June.
