The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the Certificates of Registration (CoR) of 16 Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) under Section 45-IA (6) of the RBI Act, 1934.
The cancellations, carried out between July 7 and July 25, 2025, affect companies based primarily in Maharashtra, along with entities from Gujarat and Kerala.
Among those whose registrations have been revoked are Wadhawan Global Capital Limited, Praptee Savings and Investment (India) Limited, Sharmistha Investments Private Limited, Softfin Investments Private Limited, Tyche Securities Pvt Ltd, Bharat Monetary Services Pvt. Ltd., NCS Finance Private Limited, Geopreneur Fincorp Private Limited, Indo-Euro Investments Company Limited, Investrick Securities (India) Private Limited, Jem Fiscal Limited, Karvirvasini Investments and Finance Private Limited, Kaundinya Investment and Finance Private Limited, Silver Golden Property Develop Fin Investment Limited, Simplex Trading and Agencies Ltd, and Tele Link Securities and Finance Limited.
Following this action, these companies are prohibited from carrying out any non-banking financial business as defined under clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
