Cyient, a global Intelligent Engineering solutions company, has announced the appointment of veteran business leaders P.R. Ramesh and Dr. Madan Pillutla to its Board of Directors as Independent Directors.
Ramesh, former Chairman of Deloitte India and a past member of the Deloitte Global Board, brings over four decades of experience. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), he has contributed extensively to regulatory and industry bodies including SEBI, RBI, IRDA, and several government committees on corporate governance and accounting standards. He has also served as President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry and currently sits on the boards of leading companies such as Air India, Cipla, L&T, Nestl‚ India, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, and ITC Hotels.
Dr. Pillutla, currently Dean and Professor of Organizational Behaviour at the Indian School of Business, previously spent 22 years at the London Business School in senior roles including Deputy Dean of Faculty and Governing Body member. His research has been widely published in top academic journals, and he has served on editorial boards of prestigious publications such as Administrative Science Quarterly and the Academy of Management Journal. He has also designed and led executive programs on leadership, negotiation, and influence.
