Ceigall forays into renewable energy, secures 337 MW solar LoIs from MSEDCL

Ceigall India Limited, one of the country’s fastest-growing EPC firms, has announced its entry into the renewable energy sector after receiving two Letters of Intent (LoIs) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Limited (MSEDCL) for solar power procurement.

The projects, awarded under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, involve setting up grid-connected solar power facilities at multiple locations across Maharashtra. Ceigall will develop 337 MW of solar capacity under a tariff-based competitive bidding process floated by MSEDCL.

Commenting on the development, Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ceigall India Limited, said, “Securing these LoIs marks our entry into the renewable energy sector — a domain that will define the future of infrastructure and sustainable development in India. This milestone reflects our commitment to building world-class solar projects that support India’s clean energy goals while providing communities with reliable green power. It is just the beginning, as we aim to play a leading role in India’s energy transition and create long-term value for all stakeholders.”

The company said this diversification into renewables strengthens its portfolio, positions it to capture emerging opportunities, and reinforces its commitment to sustainable infrastructure growth aligned with India’s clean energy transition.
