Auto-components maker Wheels India has entered into a technical agreement with South Korea’s SHPAC (Shinhung Precision Machinery Co. Ltd) for technology transfer in hydraulic cylinder manufacturing.

The company has identified hydraulic cylinders as a strategic growth area, with the partnership expected to accelerate expansion in this segment.

“Our focus is to scale the hydraulics cylinder business significantly over the next few years, and we see strong potential for it to become an important global growth driver,” said Srivats Ram, MD, Wheels India, in a statement.
