Alok Industries posts Q2 net loss of Rs 201.97 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 201.97 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 260.60 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose by 5.67 per cent at Rs 901.19 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 852.84 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 0.64 per cent to Rs 899.42 crore from Rs 893.72 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 172.24 per cent at Rs 11.57 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 4.25 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 104.33 per cent to Rs 1.77 crore as against Rs -40.88 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 104.18 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 0.24 per cent y-o-y to Rs 153.44 crore
