Jaiprakash Power Ven Q2 net profit down 0.04% at Rs 182.03 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 182.03 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 182.11 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 0.04 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 17.28 per cent at Rs 1,438.30 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,226.41 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 15.17 per cent to Rs 967.52 crore from Rs 840.08 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 48.68 per cent at Rs 40.13 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 78.20 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 21.86 per cent to Rs 470.78 crore as against Rs 386.33 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 3.90 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 9.36 per cent y-o-y to Rs 100.03 crore, while Taxation increased by 111.98 per cent at Rs 109.70 crore (Sep'24 Rs 51.75 crore).
