Zinc Futures Fall on Muted Demand

Zinc prices declined 0.46% to Rs 300.15 per kg on Thursday in futures trade, as traders cut their exposure amid weak demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc for November delivery slipped by Rs 1.40 to Rs 300.15 per kg in 2,839 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall to reduced buying from consuming industries, prompting participants to pare down their positions.
