Birla Cable Q2 net profit down 65.50% at Rs 0.69 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 0.69 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 2.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 65.50 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 3.11 per cent at Rs 176.07 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 181.72 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 2.03 per cent to Rs 168.86 crore from Rs 172.36 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 58.25 per cent at Rs 0.43 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 1.03 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 23.08 per cent to Rs 7.20 crore as against Rs 9.36 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 20.58 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 34.43 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.59 crore, while Taxation decreased by 45.00 per cent at Rs 0.33 crore (Sep'24 Rs 0.60 crore).
