Thangamayil Jeweller posts Q2 net profit of Rs 58.51 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 58.51 crore compared to net loss of Rs 17.44 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 44.69 per cent at Rs 1,704.60 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,178.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 35.07 per cent to Rs 1,605.25 crore from Rs 1,188.49 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 113.56 per cent at Rs 6.30 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 2.95 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 1056.21 per cent to Rs 99.35 crore as against Rs -10.39 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 762.50 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 52.83 per cent y-o-y to Rs 16.20 crore, while Taxation increased by 425.37 per cent at Rs 19.88 crore (Sep'24 Rs -6.11 crore).
