Andhra Paper posts Q2 net loss of Rs 20.26 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 20.26 crore compared to net profit of Rs 41.72 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 16.24 per cent at Rs 362.08 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 432.28 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 2.92 per cent to Rs 368.89 crore from Rs 379.97 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 66.44 per cent at Rs 10.18 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 30.33 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 113.02 per cent to Rs -6.81 crore as against Rs 52.31 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 115.54 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 8.53 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.20 crore, while Taxation decreased by 146.58 per cent at Rs -7.49 crore (Sep'24 Rs 16.08 crore).
