Balmer Lawrie & Q2 net profit down 2.44% at Rs 48.48 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 48.48 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 49.69 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 2.44 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined by 0.64 per cent at Rs 629.92 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 633.98 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 0.16 per cent to Rs 564.50 crore from Rs 565.41 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 19.62 per cent at Rs 17.56 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 14.68 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 4.59 per cent to Rs 65.42 crore as against Rs 68.57 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 3.97 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 62.34 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.00 crore, while Taxation decreased by 9.90 per cent at Rs 17.02 crore (Sep'24 Rs 18.89 crore).
