Dhunseri Tea & Indus Q2 net profit up 1.74% at Rs 28.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 28.00 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 27.52 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 1.74 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 1.69 per cent at Rs 126.46 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 128.63 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 11.25 per cent to Rs 94.24 crore from Rs 84.71 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 181.16 per cent at Rs 1.94 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 0.69 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 26.64 per cent to Rs 32.22 crore as against Rs 43.92 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 25.37 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 12.93 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.29 crore, while Taxation decreased by 75.66 per cent at Rs 2.68 crore (Sep'24 Rs 11.01 crore).
