Indraprastha Gas Q2 net profit down 13.59% at Rs 372.51 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 372.51 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 431.09 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 13.59 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.82 per cent at Rs 4,023.33 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,697.29 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 13.26 per cent to Rs 3,580.50 crore from Rs 3,161.37 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 8.87 per cent at Rs 162.57 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 149.32 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 17.37 per cent to Rs 442.83 crore as against Rs 535.92 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 24.02 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 7.33 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.15 crore, while Taxation decreased by 22.92 per cent at Rs 102.85 crore (Sep'24 Rs 133.44 crore).
