Chemplast Sanmar posts Q2 net loss of Rs 35.53 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 35.53 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 7.87 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.11 per cent at Rs 558.12 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 516.25 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 7.57 per cent to Rs 540.17 crore from Rs 502.16 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 38.30 per cent at Rs 2.98 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 4.83 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 27.40 per cent to Rs 17.95 crore as against Rs 14.09 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 17.95 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 42.44 per cent y-o-y to Rs 27.99 crore, while Taxation decreased by 63.89 per cent at Rs -9.54 crore (Sep'24 Rs -26.42 crore).
