Captain Polyplast Secures Rs 8.17 crore Solar Pump Order from MSEDCL

Captain Polyplast Ltd (CPL), a leading manufacturer and exporter of micro-irrigation solutions with a growing presence in the solar EPC segment, has received a fresh order worth Rs 8.17 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL).

The order, placed under the PM Kusum B Scheme and the “Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump” Yojana, involves the supply and installation of 300 standalone off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems within 60 days. This comes in addition to an earlier order for 200 pumps received at the time of the company’s empanelment with MSEDCL.

The company said the new order strengthens its growth momentum and aligns with its long-term expansion strategy in sustainable energy solutions.

Commenting on the development, Captain Polyplast Whole-Time Director Ritesh Khichadia said the additional order underscores the company’s execution capability in the solar pumping segment. He added that the PM Kusum scheme is creating major opportunities in clean irrigation technologies, supporting the company’s future growth outlook.
