Tata Communications buys 51% stake in Commotion Inc. for Rs 227 crore

Tata Communications on Tuesday announced the acquisition of a 51% stake in Commotion Inc., an AI-native enterprise SaaS platform with operations in the US and India, for a total consideration of Rs 227 crore.

The deal includes both the purchase of shares from existing shareholders and fresh capital infusion into the company.

In its statement, Tata Communications said that integrating Commotion’s AI-driven capabilities into its digital ecosystem will accelerate its own AI adoption and support its transformation into an AI-first organisation.
