Ashiana Ispat posts Q2 net profit of Rs 0.34 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 0.34 crore compared to net loss of Rs 4.89 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose three fold by 1167.72 per cent at Rs 408.46 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 32.22 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 1067.92 per cent to Rs 406.67 crore from Rs 34.82 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 200.00 per cent at Rs 0.06 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 0.02 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 169.23 per cent to Rs 1.80 crore as against Rs -2.60 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 105.45 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 87.71 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.22 crore, while Taxation decreased by 342.86 per cent at Rs -0.17 crore (Sep'24 Rs 0.07 crore).
