Elecon Engg. Q3 net profit down 32.71% at Rs 61.89 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 61.89 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 91.98 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 32.71 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.76 per cent at Rs 454.16 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 446.32 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 12.19 per cent to Rs 358.67 crore from Rs 319.71 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 32.49 per cent at Rs 17.37 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 13.11 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 24.58 per cent to Rs 95.49 crore as against Rs 126.61 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 25.87 per cent in December quarter.

Interest grew by 129.79 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.48 crore, while Taxation decreased by 35.52 per cent at Rs 20.55 crore (Dec'24 Rs 31.87 crore).
