Fintech major Razorpay’s offline payments arm, Razorpay POS, on Thursday announced that it has received authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as an offline payment aggregator.
With this approval, Razorpay now holds all three key RBI licences—online payment aggregator, cross-border payment aggregator (secured in December 2025), and offline payment aggregator—strengthening its position in India’s digital payments ecosystem, the company said in a statement.
The PA-P licence will enable Razorpay POS to further scale its in-store payment infrastructure and support high-volume transactions across a wide range of sectors, from large retail chains to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
