Bharti Airtel, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, has opened its 100th retail store in Gujarat at Tragad, Ahmedabad, marking a key milestone in the company’s expansion across the state. The launch reinforces Airtel’s focus on strengthening its offline presence and bringing digital services closer to customers.

With the inauguration of the Tragad store, Airtel now has a presence across 34 districts in Gujarat, with a strong footprint in major markets such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Bhavnagar, along with other fast-growing districts. Gujarat continues to be a priority market for Airtel, driven by rising demand for high-speed connectivity, digital entertainment and personalised service support.

Commenting on the milestone, Adarsh Verma, CEO – Bharti Airtel, Gujarat, said that opening the 100th retail store reflects the trust of customers across the state. He added that Airtel’s retail stores play a vital role in delivering personalised assistance and simplifying access to digital services, while reinforcing the company’s commitment to being closer to customers.

The newly launched store is designed as a comprehensive service destination, offering Airtel’s full portfolio, including high-speed Airtel Wi-Fi, prepaid and postpaid mobile plans, Airtel Digital TV, IPTV services and digital solutions for small businesses. Trained Airtel relationship teams will provide on-the-spot support for new connections, upgrades, bill payments and service-related queries, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

As part of its Gujarat expansion strategy, Airtel continues to strengthen its retail presence across urban centres, tier-two cities and emerging growth corridors, in line with its broader mission of connecting communities and enabling digital access across Bharat through robust networks and high-quality customer service.
