Bharat Petroleum Q3 net profit jumps 62.29% at Rs 7545.27 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 7,545.27 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 4649.20 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 62.29 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose by 5.18 per cent at Rs 1,18,999.37 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,13,135.80 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 1.67 per cent to Rs 1,07,322.56 crore from Rs 1,05,555.38 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 9.46 per cent at Rs 750.14 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 828.54 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 54.04 per cent to Rs 11,676.81 crore as against Rs 7,580.42 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 46.42 per cent in December quarter.

Interest declined by 15.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 360.66 crore, while Taxation increased by 66.91 per cent at Rs 2,548.72 crore (Dec'24 Rs 1,526.97 crore).
