Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd has received a Letter of Award (LOA) in a joint venture, GHV Infra Projects – BIL (JV), for executing riverbank protection works under the Climate Resilient Brahmaputra Integrated Flood and Riverbank Erosion Risk Management Project.

The contract involves underwater and above-water riverbank protection works across the Jorhat subproject covering Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Golaghat districts. The project has been awarded by the Water Resources Department Assam, a domestic government body.

The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode over a period of 30 months, with a total contract value of Rs 62.03 crore. The company clarified that the order does not involve any promoter interest or related party transaction.
