Tata Motors Passenge posts Q3 net loss of Rs 233.00 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 233.00 crore compared to net profit of Rs 1404.00 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 11.02 per cent at Rs 15,163.00 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 17,040.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 3.01 per cent to Rs 14,579.00 crore from Rs 15,031.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 35.29 per cent at Rs 198.00 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 306.00 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 65.70 per cent to Rs 689.00 crore as against Rs 2,009.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 61.49 per cent in December quarter.

Interest declined by 86.79 per cent y-o-y to Rs 35.00 crore, while Taxation decreased by 309.60 per cent at Rs -262.00 crore (Dec'24 Rs 125.00 crore).
