Power Finance Co Q3 net profit up 14.64% at Rs 4763.33 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 4,763.33 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 4154.92 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 14.64 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 12.36 per cent at Rs 14,655.84 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 13,043.69 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 49.50 per cent to Rs 365.94 crore from Rs 244.77 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 45.02 per cent at Rs 4.86 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 8.84 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 11.65 per cent to Rs 14,289.90 crore as against Rs 12,798.92 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 0.63 per cent in December quarter.

Interest grew by 7.85 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8,329.40 crore, while Taxation increased by 29.17 per cent at Rs 1,194.01 crore (Dec'24 Rs 924.38 crore).
