Gujarat Alkalies posts Q3 net loss of Rs 11.16 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 11.16 crore compared to net profit of Rs 8.55 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.46 per cent at Rs 1,044.46 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,029.41 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 0.89 per cent to Rs 939.66 crore from Rs 931.41 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 100.99 per cent at Rs 30.47 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 15.16 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 6.94 per cent to Rs 104.80 crore as against Rs 98.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 5.36 per cent in December quarter.

Interest grew by 77.01 per cent y-o-y to Rs 18.48 crore, while Taxation increased by 680.00 per cent at Rs 23.78 crore (Dec'24 Rs -4.10 crore).
