Bharat Coking Coal posts Q3 net loss of Rs 22.88 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 22.88 crore compared to net profit of Rs 424.99 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 25.44 per cent at Rs 2,584.77 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,466.59 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 11.95 per cent to Rs 2,749.08 crore from Rs 3,122.13 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 2.64 per cent at Rs 70.44 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 68.63 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 94.04 per cent to Rs 33.72 crore as against Rs 566.10 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 92.04 per cent in December quarter.

Interest grew by 180.63 per cent y-o-y to Rs 46.36 crore, while Taxation decreased by 151.56 per cent at Rs -46.22 crore (Dec'24 Rs 89.64 crore).
