GE Power India posts Q3 net profit of Rs 71.68 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 71.68 crore compared to net loss of Rs 19.59 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 21.69 per cent at Rs 385.62 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 316.90 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 20.64 per cent to Rs 260.82 crore from Rs 328.65 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 42.94 per cent at Rs 15.63 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 27.39 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 1162.13 per cent to Rs 124.80 crore as against Rs -11.75 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 972.24 per cent in December quarter.

Interest grew by 53.04 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.29 crore, while Taxation increased by 0.00 per cent at Rs 4.08 crore (Dec'24 Rs 0.00 crore).
