Guj. Ind. Power Co. posts Q3 net loss of Rs 3.20 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 3.20 crore compared to net profit of Rs 39.20 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 14.89 per cent at Rs 369.94 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 321.99 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 6.48 per cent to Rs 247.61 crore from Rs 232.54 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 14.76 per cent at Rs 12.59 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 14.77 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 36.76 per cent to Rs 122.33 crore as against Rs 89.45 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 19.04 per cent in December quarter.

Interest grew by 359.80 per cent y-o-y to Rs 36.14 crore, while Taxation increased by 72.39 per cent at Rs 24.41 crore (Dec'24 Rs 14.16 crore).
