IRCTC Q3 net profit up 15.62% at Rs 394.49 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 394.49 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 341.21 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 15.62 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 18.36 per cent at Rs 1,449.47 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,224.66 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 21.82 per cent to Rs 984.00 crore from Rs 807.73 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 24.06 per cent at Rs 69.91 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 56.35 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 11.64 per cent to Rs 465.47 crore as against Rs 416.93 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 5.67 per cent in December quarter.

Interest grew by 42.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.60 crore, while Taxation increased by 16.81 per cent at Rs 134.91 crore (Dec'24 Rs 115.50 crore).
