Indian Bank raises Rs 5,000 cr via 10-year infra bonds at 7.15%

State-run Indian Bank on Monday announced that it has raised Rs 5,000 crore through the issuance of 10-year long-term infrastructure bonds at a coupon rate of 7.15 per cent.

According to market sources, the bond issue saw strong investor interest, with multiple bids received across different coupon levels. The bank received two bids totaling Rs 3,100 crore at a 7.13 per cent coupon, along with two bids each amounting to Rs 4,100 crore and Rs 5,050 crore at coupon rates of 7.14 per cent and 7.15 per cent, respectively.

Additionally, one bid worth Rs 5,075 crore was also received, reflecting robust demand from market participants for the bond issuance.
