Enviro Infra Engineers Limited (EIEL) has secured five major projects worth Rs 1,481 crore in March 2026, marking a strong end to the financial year and enhancing its order book visibility for the coming periods.
A key highlight of these wins is the company’s entry into the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) segment within the renewable energy space. The projects, awarded by NTPC Limited, signal EIEL’s growing capability to execute large-scale and complex energy infrastructure projects.
The move aligns with the company’s long-term focus on sustainability and clean energy, as energy storage becomes increasingly critical for renewable integration, grid stability, and peak demand management. With India’s battery storage capacity still at a nascent stage, EIEL aims to leverage early-mover advantage in a high-growth segment.
Additionally, these project wins expand the company’s geographical presence into Bihar, Assam, and Telangana, strengthening its footprint across key infrastructure and energy transition markets.
With this development, EIEL continues to diversify beyond its core water and wastewater treatment business, positioning itself as an integrated player across water, sanitation, and sustainable energy solutions.
