GoI floating rate bond 2028 interest rate set at 6.17% for H1FY27

The Government of India has fixed the interest rate on Floating Rate Bond 2028 (FRB 2028) at 6.17% per annum for the half-year period from April 4, 2026 to October 3, 2026.

The bond’s coupon is linked to the average Weighted Average Yield (WAY) of the last three auctions of 182-day Treasury Bills prior to the reset date, along with a fixed spread of 0.64%.
