RBI to conduct Rs 2 Lakh crore 7-Day VRRR Auction on April 10

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced a 7-day Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) on April 10, 2026, to manage surplus liquidity conditions in the system.

The auction will be conducted for a notified amount of Rs 2,00,000 crore, with a tenor of 7 days. The bidding window will remain open from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and the reversal date is scheduled for April 17, 2026.

The central bank stated that the operational guidelines for the auction will remain unchanged, as outlined in its earlier communication dated February 13, 2020.
