National Cadet Corps launches Nationwide Cyber Security Training Programme

The National Cadet Corps (NCC), in collaboration with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), has launched a nationwide Cyber Security Capacity Building Programme to equip cadets with digital safety and cyber defence skills.

The programme will be rolled out in two phases. The first phase is a 15-hour online training module focused on cyber awareness, digital hygiene, and safe internet practices, accessible to all NCC cadets. The second phase is a 60-hour advanced offline training for selected cadets, offering hands-on experience and real-world cyber defence exposure.

The initiative aims to develop a network of trained NCC Cyber Cadets who can promote cyber awareness and safe digital practices at the grassroots level, while supporting India’s broader Digital India and skill development goals.
