HDFC Life Insurance Q4 net profit up 4.01% at Rs 495.65 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 495.65 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 476.54 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 4.01 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.68 per cent at Rs 25,829.43 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 23,765.56 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 17.60 per cent to Rs 19,604.88 crore from Rs 23,793.07 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 284.81 per cent at Rs 382.89 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 99.50 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 61.68 per cent to Rs 121.80 crore as against Rs 317.86 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 64.93 per cent in March quarter.

Taxation increased by 52.40 per cent at Rs 36.82 crore (Mar'25 Rs 24.16 crore).
