Tata Communications Q4 net profit down 75.79% at Rs 168.75 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 168.75 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 697.10 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 75.79 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.12 per cent at Rs 1,881.35 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,860.47 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 7.15 per cent to Rs 1,391.63 crore from Rs 1,498.73 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 32.16 per cent at Rs 103.11 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 78.02 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 35.38 per cent to Rs 489.72 crore as against Rs 361.74 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 33.90 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 29.29 per cent y-o-y to Rs 88.16 crore, while Taxation decreased by 43.49 per cent at Rs 61.08 crore (Mar'25 Rs 108.08 crore).
