Chennai Petroleum Q4 net profit zooms 211.07% at Rs 1399.70 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,399.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 449.96 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 211.07 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 2.50 per cent at Rs 16,817.32 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 17,249.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 10.22 per cent to Rs 14,781.28 crore from Rs 16,464.31 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 68.83 per cent at Rs 20.85 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 12.35 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 159.44 per cent to Rs 2,036.04 crore as against Rs 784.79 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 166.15 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 75.05 per cent y-o-y to Rs 16.42 crore, while Taxation increased by 272.45 per cent at Rs 490.70 crore (Mar'25 Rs 131.75 crore).
