DCB Bank Q4 net profit up 16.14% at Rs 205.65 cr

The bank reported standalone net profit of Rs 205.65 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 177.07 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-yearÿgrowthÿof 16.14 per cent.

Interest income of the bank rose by 9.49 per cent at Rs 1907.27 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as against Rs 1741.89 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During the January-March quarter, total income rose moderately by 8.06 per cent to Rs 2,118.78 crore from Rs 1,960.71 crore in the year ago period.

Meanwhile, operating expenses increased by 7.33 per cent to Rs 1,776.68 crore from Rs 1,655.31 crore in the same period last year.

Operating profit surged 12.02 per cent to Rs 342.10 crore from Rs. 305.40 crore.

Provisions and Contingencies surged by 2.65 per cent at Rs 69.00 crore from Rs 67.22 crore a year ago.

NII, the difference between interest earned on loans and interest paid on deposits, increased by 17.43 per cent at Rs 655.22 crore versus Rs 557.96 crore in the year ago period. Non-interest income dipped 3.34 per cent year-on-year to Rs 211.51 crore.

On the asset side, gross non- performing assets (NPAs)ÿfellÿto 2.45 per cent of the gross advances as at the end of March 31, 2026 from a level of 2.99 per cent year earlier. Its net NPAs or bad loans tooÿdeclinedÿto 0.89 per cent of net advances on March 31, 2026 from 1.12 per cent a year ago.
