Nippon Life India Q4 net profit up 29.37% at Rs 382.64 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 382.64 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 295.78 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 29.37 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 31.70 per cent at Rs 693.34 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 526.46 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 16.71 per cent to Rs 195.99 crore from Rs 167.93 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 207.04 per cent at Rs -27.38 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 25.58 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 38.72 per cent to Rs 497.35 crore as against Rs 358.53 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 5.33 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 16.09 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.46 crore, while Taxation decreased by 4.89 per cent at Rs 74.66 crore (Mar'25 Rs 78.50 crore).
