Tata Chemicals Q4 net profit down 58.26% at Rs 48.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 48.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 115.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 58.26 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 2.87 per cent at Rs 1,254.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,219.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 4.95 per cent to Rs 1,038.00 crore from Rs 989.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 33.33 per cent at Rs 28.00 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 21.00 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 6.09 per cent to Rs 216.00 crore as against Rs 230.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 8.74 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 48.98 per cent y-o-y to Rs 73.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 40.00 per cent at Rs 7.00 crore (Mar'25 Rs 5.00 crore).
